Negative balance of 4 cents.
Got this letter from the public transit company, because I had a negative balance on my account… of 4 cents… 4 freaking cents. So, they wrote (15 euro an hour?) me a letter (2 cents?), printed (2 cents?) and posted (44 cents) it to ask me “urgently” to pay the 4 cents. So, I did… well, a bank transfer costs 1 cent, so I transferred them 5 cents and told them to keep the change. I bet you that 1 cent difference will screw with their books and they’ll be forced to transfer it back.
I wonder if this was an automated mailing or if someone is really trying to stand on principle.
